CHAMP: Rocking with us at the moment is the adorable Johna. What’s up Johna?
Johna: Hey Hollywood what’s good? =) I am so happy to finally have the opportunity to speak with you about your company!

CHAMP:  Where do you hail from and how long have you been modeling for?

Johna: I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated Camelback HS and I am graduating from Arizona State in May 2011. (I’m SOOOOO excited) =) Now about modeling. I actually just made a model mayhem and started working on my portfolio this summer. I am really new to this but I love entertainment. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

CHAMP: Are there any specific ads or videos that you have been in that
people may recognize you from?

Johna: Recently I did a video for an artist here in Phoenix named Che-Che. I will have the link up on my model mayhem as soon as it’s done. But I have done more promo and still shots as of now. This summer I did the Dubb Car Show, Adam & Eve Lingerie Runway event, and various club events. Like I said I just started building my portfolio this summer so I will keep you updated with all of the work I continue to do. =)

CHAMP: Before you were doing the modeling thing what was Johna doing? Or still doing?

Johna: Like I said I go to school full time. I was working with the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation teaching dance classes, but now that this is my last semester I am crazy busy with school, my internship, and everything else. I also LOVE to dance. (That’s my minor) So I do Hip- Hop and Salsa. I try to keep pretty active and busy.

CHAMP:  What’s your nationality?

 

Johna: My mom is French and my dad is Black. Sexy mulatos are the best! lol

 

CHAMP: How’d you get started with the whole modeling thing?

Johna: Actually off of social sites like myspace, facebook and twitter, I got lots of offers for promo, videos; photo shoots etc. So I just figured hey… I need to put the physical features god blessed me with to use! Lol

CHAMP: All my fellas definitely would like to know the answer to the
golden question….Are you single?

Johna: YESSSSSSSSSS! OMG I am too busy to date. LOL But I am definitely looking.

CHAMP: What’s the lamest thing a guy has ever done to impress you?

Johna: Well the lamest thing to me is guys that try to buy my interest. I already have a car, apartment, clothes, shoes and everything I need. If you want me to like you show me you, NOT your pockets guys! lol

CHAMP: What was the craziest thing a guy has done for you that you thought was just amazing and actually impressed you?

Johna: One time while I was at work my ex brought me flowers. It may seem simple, but it was so random and for no reason at all so I thought it was really thoughtful. Girls really like surprises fellas! =)

CHAMP: On a music aspect. What’s Johna’s top three songs she’s feeling at the moment?

Johna: I’d have to say at this moment I really love Wiz Khalifa “This Plane”, that Chris Brown and Tyga “Deuces”, and Drake’s WHOLE album “Thank Me Later.” In my eyes we have a lot of new artist who are bringing back GOOD hip-hop music! =)

 

CHAMP: What’s a hilarious “On Set” story you can share with the people?

 

Johna: Hmmmm lol Well one time I was shooting an implied nude and while I was waiting for the photographer to fix the lights some people started walking up to where we were shooting. I wasn’t paying attention and I put my hands down for a second and flashed them. I was so embarrassed and so were they. LOL but I covered them quick and they actually stayed there and gave us some cool ideas. I think the body is art so I really didn’t care too much, just blushed a little at first. LMFAO.
CHAMP: What project are you currently working on that we can expect?

Johna: Man I have so many where do I start. LOL I am doing research for a professor with my school so you can expect my name on some college research journals which is pretty credible in the education field. Also I am planning on building my portfolio with more still shots, commercials, promotions, hosting and interviewing, radio broadcasting (in the future), and acting. I am very versatile and I really want to venture into a lot of areas. I don’t like to limit my abilities in any way. And I’m ready to do it ALL! =)

CHAMP: When are you gonna come up to Toronto and kick it with us out here?

Johna: I’ll come this weekend! Don’t ask questions like that to crazy ambitious people like me. HAHA Nah when would you like me to? Just let me know I’ll make it happen!

CHAMP: Where can the people follow you and be more up to date with
everything going on with Johna?

Johna: The best way is through all my social sites. I keep up with them daily. I love to network so any one of them work!
