CHAMP: We got the beautiful Destiny Hendrie rocking with us. What’s up Destiny?

Destiny Hendrie: Hey-Hey!!! Hope all is well with you! I am enjoying this beautiful LA weather, was just in Malibu and I have to tell you this California living is great, hahaaa

CHAMP:  Where do you hail from and how long have you been modeling for?

Destiny Hendrie: I hail from Tulare, CA- a wonderful town in the middle of the state known for Agriculture, so it’s safe to say I’m a “country gal.”

CHAMP: Are there any specific ads or videos that you have been in that people may recognize you from?

Destiny Hendrie: The most recent would be the promo commercial for the Lil Wayne- Rebirth album that aired earlier this year.

CHAMP: Before you were doing the modeling thing what was Destiny doing? Or still doing?

Destiny Hendrie: Modeling isn’t a main focus for me, but I do enjoy it so when I have the time and the opportunity presents itself I go for it. I graduated last spring with a BA in Communication Studies and dabbled in the corporate world but realized it wasn’t for me. I am now going to position myself to go after my real interest, which is TV broadcasting/hosting. I’m going to start with a blog and see where it goes from there- very excited to start going after my passion.
CHAMP:  What’s your nationality?

Destiny Hendrie: You know that is a question that I get frequently because I have a look that could translate to a lot of things so on the daily I am anywhere from Italian to Persian but I am the beautiful mix of Mexican, Scottish & Irish.

CHAMP: How’d you get started with the whole modeling thing?

Destiny Hendrie: Moving here to SoCal there are opportunities everywhere for it and then of course meeting contacts along the way has helped, but I started in college when I had the time and it went from there…

CHAMP: All my fellas definitely would like to know the answer to the golden question….Are you single?

Destiny Hendrie: Up until recently I was single, as of today I am happily taken by a wonderful man who really knows how to treat a lady. Fellas could learn something from him, lol….But on a serious note and point for the men out there chivalry is not dead!

CHAMP: What’s the lamest thing a guy has ever done to impress you?

Destiny Hendrie: Since I have the awesome name of “Destiny” that comes with a lot of corny pick up lines naturally, so that is definitely the lamest. Be original, be you. Good conversation and showing who you are goes a long way.
CHAMP: What was the craziest thing a guy has done for you that you thought was just amazing and actually impressed you?

Destiny Hendrie: Receiving long stem roses from another country that he was visiting. It was definitely unexpected and appreciated. I remember it was for Valentines Day and I wasn’t expecting anything because he was so far away but it was a small gesture that went a long way because it was the thought.

CHAMP: On a music aspect. What’s Destiny’s top three songs she’s feeling at the moment?

Destiny Hendrie:

CHAMP: What project are you currently working on that we can expect?

Destiny Hendrie:

At the moment I am focusing on myself and positioning myself for my next move. I am going to start a video blog and a website that I am greatly excited about getting together and we will see from there.

CHAMP: When are you gonna come up to Toronto and kick it with us out here?

Destiny Hendrie: Hopefully in the near future, hahaa… I’ve heard nothing but great things about Canada so I am definitely looking forward to it when I do I can make it a promise to stop and hang out J
