BIANCA HOLLAND INTERVIEW W/ CHAMP MAG
CHAMP MAGAZINE
Hollywood
Swagmire

CHAMP: In terms of the modeling aspect (you modeling), how long have you been in this business for?

Bianca: About 3 years approximately.

CHAMP: How were you discovered? And what intrigued you to get into this whole modeling business?

Bianca: When I got started it was kind of like a curiosity thing. People had always told me that I should be a model and that I should try it out. I always had an eye for it. I scheduled a shoot with someone and then I actually paid for my first photo shoot funny as that sounds. I put my portfolio and posted my images on the internet and then from there it was just like a tumble down effect of the work that I was just getting. I kind of just did my own marketing and things like that and pretty much just began modeling.

CHAMP: Exactly where are you hailing from in the U.S?

Bianca: I am in Florida.

CHAMP: Are there any specific ads or videos that you have been in that people may recognize you from?

Bianca: I was in a music video with Lloyd and Lil Wayne it was called “Girls Around the World” where I was one of the sexy robots in that video. I have also done a pretty big ad campaign for this energy drink called Dyna Pep and they had a billboard of me in Time Square in New York City. I have also appeared in some national magazines so I have done some work.

CHAMP: Often when people think about models they think that they are superstars and they are not regular people. Before you were doing the modeling thing where you in school or just working? What exactly was Bianca doing before the whole modeling thing?

Bianca: Before the modeling I was in the real estate business, not really selling homes but more or less as a leasing agent. I was showing properties, working with a big developer. Converting properties  and we were traveling from city to city, so I was in real estate.

CHAMP: I’m sure when people look at you, a lot of nationalities are brought towards you and they are guessing what you are. What are some of the nationalities people throw at you? And what is you actual background?

Bianca: I have gotten a lot of people think that I’m from Brazil and Spain. I have also been told that I am just a regular old mixed white girl, European, I get a lot of Italian. I am actually Puerto Rican I was born out of Massachusetts and my family is from Puerto Rico.

CHAMP: Are you fluent by any chance in Español?

Bianca: Yeah I speak Spanish and English obviously. My family they are more English speakers so I know Spanish fluently and I know how to read and write it I just don’t ever really practice it because I don’t really have anyone to talk to in Spanish.

CHAMP: On set we have been through behind the scene sets at photo shoots and videos and we often witness funny moments that happen on set. What is the funniest that you experienced on a set before?

Bianca: On the set of a movie that I did, I was doing my own stunt and I was supposed to fall back onto a bunch of pillows. For some reason the person who set up my pillows must have not really thought about the fact that when I fell back, I might split the pillows in half and actually hit the floor, so when I threw myself back I actually split the pillows, hit my head on the floor and everyone was in shock, and for me I just thought it was the funniest thing in the world because I am such a klutz so of course that happens to me. That was probably one of the weirdest and funniest thing that happened to me.

CHAMP: You got up ok? You weren’t hurt or anything?

Bianca: Yeah I thought I was going to pass out, but I was fine.

CHAMP: We have some fella’s seeing this and some may already recognize you and know who you are, but they want to know what your status is right now? Are you single or seeing someone? What is Bianca’s status?

Bianca: I’m taken.

CHAMP: In terms of the ideal guy. I know girls say there isn’t really an ideal guy. What are quality’s you look for in a guy?

Bianca: I would say confidence, someone that is very motivated, and someone who stands behind their opinion and is not afraid to speak it. Someone who knows how to be protecting but without being overwhelming of me and someone that loves me for who I am and not what I look like.

CHAMP: That is a good answer. What is the lamest thing a guy has ever done for you that you thought was just pathetic?

Bianca: It’s hard to say because I appreciate any kind of initiative so it’s hard to say someone has done anything lame, but I would say cheating or lying. Lying is probably the biggest thing, it’s not one instance but I hate it when I get lied to and they get caught and still lie. So I would say in past relationships where anyone that’s ever lied to me I just think that’s totally lame.

CHAMP: What was the craziest thing a guy has done for you that you thought was just amazing?

Bianca: Probably not the craziest thing but I have had a guy sing to me which I thought was really sweet. Another guy had wrote a poem for me and drew me a really nice painting so I would say those two are probably the nicest thing not necessarily craziest, I’ve had some crazy’s, but I’m into the craziness that just shows that you love me.

CHAMP: With CHAMP we do a lot of focus on entertainment and music as well. What artist are you feeling in 2010? Are there any specific albums you are excited to come out this year?

Bianca: I am kind of like an old school chick; I have been really into old school music. I listen to the new school stuff but I love Drake right now and I am really into some of the female artist like Lady Gaga and things like that. Nothing really spectacular I am not really into the new school music like that so I am not anticipating anything but I do enjoy all of it so props to all of them.

CHAMP: What exactly can we expect from Bianca Holland for 2010? Any projects that you are working on at the moment that the people can expect?

Bianca: Right now I am working for a magazine behind the scenes using my talents towards editorial contents, I am working with a magazine called JM they are actually available in Canada and the U.S. we just launched this year so I have been working on that. I just started working with a new management company that is going to be getting me more gigs and music videos and things of that sort. I have a lot of things planned for 2010.

CHAMP: Is there a specific site that people can go on to get more info on you and pics and be up to date with what you are doing?

Bianca: My website is http://www.officialbiancaholland.com. I am actually in the process of re-doing the site, but there is soon to be more media that is going to be on there, new videos and more photos so people can talk to me easier.

CHAMP: The golden question is: are you Twittering as well?

Bianca: I am. It’s something that I was kind of delayed on because I was kind of against the whole Twitter thing, but I’m big in Twitter, I am starting to do Facebook it’s really popular for me right now but I am slowly gearing over to Twitter side so I will be there soon. I am there it’s just I don’t have the status that I should have on Twitter. If you are on Twitter add me!

CHAMP: What is the actually Twitter screen name?

Bianca: http://www.twitter.com/biancaholland
