HollywoodCHAMP: What’s going on Hushi? What are you up to at the current  moment?Trash and Luxury: Just finished shooting a very glamorous look book for Trash and Luxury.

 

 

CHAMP: Definitely interested in the meaning and origin behind the name  Trash and Luxury.Trash and Luxury: It came from the idea of simultaneously playing with the ideas of negation and celebration of luxury fashion-while making it affordable and somewhat accessible to more than the very rich.

 

CHAMP: What was the vision you guys had when you started up in terms of the type of clothes you wanted to come out with?Trash and Luxury: The high juxtaposed with the low-taking something basic and street like jersey and embodying it with a more luxe and glamorous tone whether it’s in the print or the fabrication or cut-always with a dash of pop.

 

CHAMP: Where are you guys based out of?Trash and Luxury: Los Angeles

 

CHAMP: In terms of designs and artistic direction for the apparel who comes up with the ideas?Trash and Luxury: Hushi

 

CHAMP: Are the designs made in house or overseas?Trash and Luxury: All in house from idea to sketch to final piece

 

CHAMP: How many pieces do you produce a year?Trash and Luxury: Around 110-130 separate looks which don’t include multiples of a piece.

 

CHAMP: Who are come celebs you guys caught wearing your stuff or that you guys endorse?Trash and Luxury: I don’t really design for celebrities in mind-I design for the “Glamazon” who can live in a cosmopolitan capitol or a small town who dares to step out of the norm. Some celebrities who like the brand range from hollywoodite Lindsey Lohan to larger than life Lady Gaga.

 

CHAMP: What are your thoughts and views on the male skirts that’s been coming out overseas?Trash and Luxury: To each his own-why not.

 

CHAMP: Who do you think in the music industry has their swag or fashion  sense up?Trash and Luxury: Beth Ditto from The Gossip.

 

CHAMP: Who are some clothing brands on the come up or on the  underground that you guys are feeling at the moment?Trash and Luxury: Hood By Air, Basso and Brooke, Mary Katrantzou.

 

CHAMP: Are there any other areas of the fashion world you guys wanna  explore?Trash and Luxury: Silks, wovens, and shoes.

 

CHAMP: Where can people follow up and be up to date with new  collections and anything going on in the world of Trash and Luxury?Trash and Luxury: trashandluxury.comTrash and Luxury: El Kartel

 

CHAMP: Are there any exclusive Trash and Luxury spots in Canada?

 

CHAMP: What else can we expect from Trash and Luxury Cloth in 2010?

Trash and Luxury: Well we’re already onto 2010 so definitely a touch of the future.

    Now a days lot of designs have arrived in to men & womens fashion style. But one of the key items every men & woman should have is a pair of jeans that flatters your figure and can be dressed up or down.
