Ballgreezy: It was a name that was given to me at first it was Ballgrum that was given to me when I was younger and I aint like the name. I tried to come out with a little name to get my rep thang going but I was like fuck it I’ma go with Ballgrum and as time went on the niggas that I ran with told me I’m so slick that they started calling me Greezy, so I was like that’s what it’s gon’ be.

.
CHAMP: So how did you get to where you at right now?
Ballgreezy: It was just me and my dog Young Manish on the grind and we just kept pumpin’ and pumpin’ and pumpin’ our shit and fucking with the djs and it started picking up.

Ballgreezy: Who produced the track was Gorilla Tek who was making a beat one day, and they was like they got a beat for me. They was supposed to sell the beat actually, but I was like nah before they do that let me fuck with it first. I spit the verse for him in person like live and shit ,and he was like nah fuck that we finna keep this shit and I laid the shit down and we went from there.
CHAMP: That’s big that’s big because not a lot of people get to do that. So what’s next for you and ICONZ music and what can we expect from Ballgreezy in the future?
Ballgreezy: A lot of big things is on and poppin’ but right now we’re workin’ on the mixtape, I’m tryina put out a full tour. We finna run through the whole Florida and get that thing poppin’.
